What does the male eyelid surgery procedure involve?

After your eyelid surgery, expect to lay low for about a week. You’ll likely prefer staying in, especially since you’ll have some noticeable swelling and bruising. Recovering from surgery on your lower eyelids might take a bit longer than from work done on the upper eyelids. If your upper eyelids were operated on, getting back to work could take about a week, but for lower eyelid surgery, plan for possibly up to two weeks off.

Right after the surgery, expect the swelling around your eyes to be pretty noticeable, and the skin might feel unusually tight. Initially, your eyes might appear a bit asymmetrical or overly tight, but this is just temporary due to the internal stitches. Most of the swelling should go down within the first ten days, although some bruising might stick around a bit longer.
