Please check the following before requesting doner for WD HDD HEADSWAP. The first part of the model number should match exactly(ex. WD400BB-55JKA0) , as well as three characters in the second part. The physical heads (PH) map should also match exactly. The J or 2 in the DCM should be towards the end and match on the donor. The country of manufacture and PCB Revision should be the same, and the date of manufacture should be within three months of the original drive. The first four digits of the serial numbers should also match.
