Body contouring surgery in London addresses excess fat, loose skin and muscle laxity — through liposuction, tummy tuck, arm lift, thigh lift, HD Lipo and body implants. Day case procedures at our CQC-regulated Baker Street clinic.

Body contouring surgery covers a range of procedures designed to reshape the body’s proportions by removing excess fat, excising loose skin, tightening the underlying musculature, or adding volume through implants. At Centre for Surgery, body contouring procedures address three broad goals: fat reduction and definition, skin removal and tightening following weight loss or pregnancy, and volume enhancement through body implants.
The appropriate procedure — or combination of procedures — depends on your anatomy, the areas of concern and the degree of change you are seeking. All surgical procedures are performed as a day case under TIVA at our CQC-regulated Baker Street facility by GMC Specialist Register consultant plastic surgeons.

Body implant procedures use solid silicone devices to add permanent definition and volume where exercise alone cannot achieve the desired result, or to restore muscle volume lost through congenital conditions, injury or disease. All body implant procedures at Centre for Surgery are performed exclusively by Mr Metin Nizamoglu FRCS (Plast), consultant plastic surgeon and body contouring subspecialist on the GMC Specialist Register.

Body contouring surgery covers a wide range of procedures with different candidacy requirements. The following general principles apply across the cluster — specific criteria for each procedure are detailed on the individual procedure pages.
All suitability is assessed at a face-to-face consultation with a GMC Specialist Register consultant plastic surgeon at our Baker Street clinic.

SAFElipo™ (Separation, Aspiration, Fat Equalisation) is the standard liposuction technique used across all liposuction procedures at Centre for Surgery. The MicroAire PAL system adds a gentle reciprocating movement to the liposuction cannula, allowing precise fat extraction with less mechanical force than traditional techniques — resulting in less bruising, less trauma and a more comfortable recovery.
The three stages of SAFElipo™ are: separation of fat cells using power-assisted liposuction; aspiration using smaller cannulas that remove fat while preserving a thin, healthy fat layer; and fat equalisation, where the remaining superficial fat layer is smoothed to produce a natural, even contour.
Where high-definition muscular sculpting is the goal, VASER ultrasound emulsification is used in combination with SAFElipo™ — the VASER step emulsifies fat cells in the superficial layer with precision, allowing the SAFElipo™ step to sculpt along the muscular anatomy. This VASER + SAFElipo™ combination is the technique used for HD Lipo and abdominal etching.

TIVA — Total Intravenous Anaesthesia — is the anaesthetic technique Centre for Surgery uses as standard for all procedures requiring general anaesthesia. This guide explains what it is, how it works, and why it produces better outcomes for patients than traditional inhaled gas anaesthesia.
Fotona 4D and traditional ablative laser resurfacing both improve skin quality — but they work in fundamentally different ways, suit different patients, and have very different recovery profiles. Centre for Surgery London explains the key differences and which one is right for you.
Same-day mole removal at Centre for Surgery takes under an hour from arrival to departure. Here is exactly what to expect — from the local anaesthetic through to your histology results.
If you're considering plastic or cosmetic surgery in London, Centre for Surgery offers a level of clinical excellence that few clinics can match.
All procedures at Centre for Surgery are performed exclusively by GMC specialist-registered consultant plastic surgeons — the highest qualification available in the UK. Our surgeons hold positions on the GMC Specialist Register and are members of BAPRAS and ISAPS, ensuring you receive care from fully credentialled specialists, not cosmetic doctors.
Our purpose-built private hospital at Baker Street, Marylebone is independently regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which awarded us a Good rating — a standard very few cosmetic surgery facilities in the UK achieve. We use TIVA (Total Intravenous Anaesthesia) as standard, the safest and most advanced form of anaesthesia available for day case surgery.
We offer the full range of surgical and non-surgical treatments under one roof, with in-depth consultations directly with your surgeon — never a sales consultant. Flexible 0% APR finance is available through Chrysalis Finance, and our comprehensive aftercare programme includes 24/7 nursing support.
